"Catch a Wave for Winthrop" is an inter-departmental charity event happening March 21, 2014 in the Massapequa High School Gym. All proceeds raised at this event will be forwarded to Winthrop University Hospital's Cancer Center for Children. The Cancer Center for Children supplements the medical care that Winthrop's child cancer patients receive with emotional care, using happiness and joy to help their cancer treatment work more effectively.
Even if you can't attend "Catch a Wave for Winthrop", you can still help Winthrop's Cancer Center for Kids by donating through PayPal!
At the event, members of the Massapequa High School Music Department will perform feel-good songs to an audience of fellow students, parents, and members of the Massapequa Community. Spectators to these performances will be able to bring beach blankets to the gymnasium, all to further support the "beach" theme.
